Who is the Proof Pen?

I am a freelance writer, proofreader and copy editor with fifteen years experience in the proofing, writing and editing field. My B.A. degree studies were in English with a double minor in Creative Writing and Journalism. My editing experience ranges from yearbook editor, newspaper columnist, newspaper editor, and corporate editor for websites, web newsletters, marketing projects and blogs. Among my achievements are the National English Merit Award and the Jostens Award of Excellence in publications. I am experienced in the MLA, APA, CSE and Chicago Manual of Style. As a newspaper editor, I learned the particulars of the English language change with surprising rapidity over the years, but certain principles never change. From the earliest forms of cuneiform texts to cutting edge websites, quality writing will always equal quality communication!
